Your child will love our climbing frames, mud pit, bike tracks, cubby houses, and zen garden. Every room features extensive building and construction areas, dramatic play setups, and spaces for investigation and exploration. Informed by world-leading research, practices and techniques, the curriculum encourages the children’s natural curiosity and engages them in their learning journey. The playground areas feature bike paths, cubby houses and sandpits, with wonderful natural elements including a rock pool, dry creek bed, worm farm and vegetable garden. To help nurture good health and physical development, the centre proudly provides free swimming lessons for kindergarten children at the neighbouring Cardinia Leisure Centre.
And we have a separate sleep area for the little ones in nursery. We have fully funded, free kindergarten programs integrated into long day care. At Goodstart Pakenham, I am committed to leading a team that values collaboration, curiosity, and kindness.
The Little Learners Toddler Program is designed to create an engaging environment that supports your toddler’s social and cognitive development. We provide a fun, play-based learning approach that engages their young and active minds within a safe and stimulating environment. Thanks to the in-house chef at our Pakenham child care centre, your child can expect healthy, nutritious, and yummy meals. We offer a rotating seasonal menu, providing breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea, and a late snack freshly made daily. Our families provide feedback on our centre menu and we create the menu around their voices. We also incorporate our families’ own recipes into our centre menu.
Next, we’ll guide you through the enrolment process and help you complete the necessary forms. I’m passionate about giving kids the best start in life, and I find it incredibly rewarding to watch them grow and learn during such vital years. Building trust with families and creating a safe, nurturing environment is at the heart of everything I do.
Our educators use the StoryPark platform to share photos and stories, keeping parents connected and engaged in their child’s day. It’s a secure way for families to feel part of the learning journey, no matter where they are. We are a family-oriented daycare and make it a priority that your child feels at home in our centre.
They develop trust so the children can feel safe and secure while at the centre. Parents are also encouraged to share their insights and feedback with educators to add depth to the relationship.
