It’s a pretty easy drive because you take one main road along Taiwan’s eastern coast. You can also head up to Donghe Township to explore the tiny town there, and further up in Chengdong Township is the Arched Bridge . Taitung City is in the Southeast coast of Taiwan, and it is the site of a lot of historical excavations. There are plenty of beautiful natural landscapes to visit. It makes for a good weekend getaway from Taiwan’s bustling city life.
It is the perfect park for relaxing and it will take you close to nature. The park is expanded by approximately 10km with different vegetation and trails are designed in unique and adventurous ways that will keep you three hours busy in exploration. You can rent the battery or manual bicycle for a ride in the park and that is available at affordable prices in nearby shops. It was a long walk if you didn't rent a bicycle... I feel they have more variety of food (or maybe they just have more food that's to my liking 🤷♀️). There's outdoor seatings available, though they might be specific to certain stalls.
The drive up to the hot springs are gorgeous mountain roads with beautiful views of valleys, tea farms, and mountains. Such a beautiful drive that can easily be done on a good scooter. The owners of the farm where parking is charge, but it's a small price. The hike down can be steep in a few parts but it's not terribly difficult if you're in decent shape.

The trail is all made of cement and stone steps, with only a few parts having a steep slope. The entrances and exits are all at different distances from the viewing platforms. Yuan, you are really friendly enough, come and challenge. 原以為鯉魚山步道要兩三個小時才能走完全程,其實只要30分鐘就可以完賽啦,步道都是水泥石階,只有少部分坡度較陡外, 各出入口與個觀景平台距離都不遠,實在有夠友善,快來挑戰喔。 A great attraction, no tickets required 🎫, minibus charges 50 yuan/vehicle; A distinctive coastal park.
