At Eastwood our community services include public access to computers, community engagement opportunities and referrals to services or support. We develop programs and activities, manage projects and hire our facilities. Here we also share community and Eastwood news and upcoming new activities or events. It also provides a pathway to other visual arts, craft and design job roles. The tradition at Sydney North Dance is that the students go full cycle. They start in the junior grades as youngsters and have the opportunity to become the teachers and assistants as they get older in order to keep the passion going and inspire the new youngsters. More importantly this creates more of a caring family environment for everyone. After the huge success of our last workshops we are back in January with a three day dance workshop. Throughout the term, your child will learn new skills while creating artworks in response to a range of subject matter from their world and studies of famous artists. They will experiment with a variety of media – pencil, charcoal, clay, ink, paint, pastels, aquarelles, glazes and recycled items. Strong basic drawing and the design principles are encouraged. Are you a beginner wanting to try water colours or a veteran wanting to master oil painting? Whatever your level we have a painting class that will suit you.
Our classes are held in a relaxed atmosphere, meaning our Sydney workshops are typically quite small in size so you'll get enough one-on-one attention from your teacher. Our workshops are usually quite short, so you're only committing a small chunk of your time. You can always request more advanced lessons later if you enjoyed your first class. Unless otherwise mentioned by the class description, all materials are provided, and you'll receive detailed step-by-step instructions from the teacher.
