As your child enters a new stage of development, our Windmill Room educators cater to their social, emotional, and physical wellbeing by providing a program based on your child’s interests and abilities. We believe children can reach all developmental goals with the right support and encouragement. Our pride and joy lie in creating a dynamic and holistic environment where children are encouraged to be the architects of their own learning journeys. We support children and embrace various approaches, including peer scaffolding, teacher-initiated learning, and the importance of interdependence. Recognizing that each child brings their own unique experiences and cultural heritage, we foster strong partnerships with families to enhance the growth and development of every child.

Arian in the Baby Koala room, in particular, helped both of my children settle into childcare beautifully. The centre offers a wide range of engaging activities, including lots of messy play, incursions, and excursions.

We offer places for children from birth to 5, with some of our early learning centres offering integrated kindergarten. The Victorian Government offers funding to provide families up to 15 hours of Free Kindergarten a week, in addition to the Childcare Subsidy. The funding offsets the fees for three and four-year-old children that are part of the centre’s long day care Kindergarten program. Families will save up to $2,101 a year for children aged three-years-old and above in eligible long day cares in 2025.

Our program continues with opportunities for children to explore and discover in both our indoor and outdoor environments. A dedicated multi-purpose room provides children with the opportunity to participate in our Wellbeing Program. These activities are part of the curriculum offered by EEL and are incorporated to reflect the children’s interests. Such activities may include music & movement, cooking classes, yoga, meditation and mindfulness. We believe outdoor play is essential for children's physical and emotional development. Our centre features a large, secure outdoor area with climbing equipment and fun activities where children can explore, play, and engage with nature daily.
Every day, safety is at the heart of everything we do, with vigilant supervision, ongoing training and thoughtfully designed spaces. Our daily fee includes everything your child needs throughout the day, with no extra charges. We encourage your child to ask questions, experiment, and problem-solve, all while engaging their natural curiosity. By fostering this inquisitive mindset, we help them develop critical thinking skills and a deeper understanding of the world around them. We look forward to welcoming your family to our Preston early education centre.
