I have worked in the Early Childhood Education and Care sector for over ten years. During this time, I’ve had the privilege of working across a wide range of roles—including Educator, Kindergarten Teacher, Educational Leader, Assistant Director, and now Centre Director. Each of these roles has shaped my professional journey and deepened my commitment to delivering high-quality care and education for all children.
We’re also building supported inclusion schools to give kids with disability greater access to education and enabling some to attend a school closer to home. Every government specialist school in Victoria has had funding for an upgrade since 2015. This investment is providing fit-for-purpose specialist schools for Victorian students.
We operate over 70 childcare and early learning centres, providing long day care and Government-approved Kindergarten and Preschool programs. My Stars Berwick Childcare is not just a daycare centre; we have a well-established kindergarten program aimed at pre-school children aged 3 to 5 years. Our kindergarten program incorporates a curriculum that supports children in achieving significant academic and developmental milestones before they embark on their schooling journey. Integrated into our Pathways to School curriculum, it builds curiosity and care for nature—supporting children to become strong, capable, independent, and thoughtful learners for life. Our STEM curriculum nurtures confident mathematical thinkers through hands-on, inquiry-based projects.
